I studied biological sciences in college and have a MSc. in mycology from Oregon State University. I have never used my Master’s degree — long story — but I have always had a soft spot for mushrooms themselves. Many species are incredible looking and they make a great subject for someone trying to figure out how to manually focus a camera.

Which is a pain in the ass.
