Buttah

Shot on a Leica Q2

I’m still processing the photos I took in Austin, Texas during the Formula 1 races in October. One thing I note is that I didn’t get that many truly interesting shots. I’m not sure if it’s a function of inexperience or moving too quickly or not being focused on the task at hand given the race going on … but most of what I pulled off the camera is boring. Still, I got a few shots I liked. This one was from the Buda Cigar Bar, right across the street from the water tower that proclaimed that in Buda you could “breathe easy.”

Interestingly “Buda” is pronounced “Bew Dah” not “Buddha” … but we all decided that it sounded better calling the town “Buttah.”

Buttah, Texas.

Here are a few random photos you may enjoy, or have a look at all my portfolio, my work shooting roadside memorials, or car people that I have photographed.
