Chevy

Part of my routine is to “exercise” the cars I own to keep them mechanically sound. One of my favorite roads has this great barn and an old Chevy truck that has seen better days. I can’t get close to it — the cows and owner probably would object — but I used a 80mm lens coupled with Hasselblad’s medium format and 100 megapixels and got this.

It seemed more interesting in monochrome and I played with the settings a bit to get it where I liked it. And Karl Nokes pointed me towards how to make a nice border around it.

Here are a few random photos you may enjoy, or have a look at all my portfolio, my work shooting roadside memorials, or car people that I have photographed.
