I realized I have an awful lot of photos that are “B” roll so I started going back through and seeing which ones I can just relegate to the hard drive and which deserve another look. As I was doing that I came across this shot from Cape Kiwanda of the lone surfer who went into the water on this particular day.

The surf was awful but he seemed committed.
