
Porsche people know that the 1973 Carrera RS is the holy grail of air-cooled 911s. They are iconic, setting the bar high for analog driving experiences, and priced appropriately. I have always wanted one, but as someone who drives my cars, I haven’t wanted to spend the money required for a high quality original car …
… so I had a near duplicate car built.
My “RS-spec” 911 started life as a 1972 911T (complete with external oil filler door) but has been transformed slowly into a near complete ’73 Carrera RS.
