
My oldest graduates from the University of Washington in a few weeks and as a gift I’m setting her up with a more professional grade of camera. I picked up a A7CII to see how that compares to the A7RV since I will end up with one or the other.

These shots of Wilson are taken on the A7CII with a TTartisan 27mm lens at ISO 16000. Interestingly the images aren’t nearly as grainy as I expected at that ISO (and I only changed the color in Lightroom, no other settings.)

I used a slower shutter to see how well the autofocus works in lower light, a reported issue with the camera. I think it did okay, despite the movement.
