I didn’t have plans to go to the Forest Grove Concourse d’Elegance this morning, especially after spending two weeks doing more or less car stuff in Europe, but my buddy Chad talked me into it. I grabbed my Hasselblad X2D and hopped in the car and off I went.
I am glad he talked me into it!
I finally got to see my friend James’s Aston Healy 100M (above) … a stunning example of a car and one he is winning awards will all over the place, including Best in Class today!

I also saw this stunning 1976 Porsche Turbo coupe, family owned since 1977. These photos do not do the car justice: it was perfect and sublime inside and out. Also, not for sale … ask me how I know.

I also happened upon the Ferrari 275 Spider that I believe won Best in Show today. It’s always interesting to me to watch people talk about their cars with judges.

Still, he has a pretty satisfied look on his face as Neil peers into the engine bay. Probably because you could eat off that block it was so clean!

I hadn’t shot with the Hasselblad for awhile so I grabbed a lot of seemingly random photos …

Finally, I got this nice photo of two of the nicest car people I know, Dave and Becky.

Here are a few random photos you may enjoy, or have a look at all my portfolio, my work shooting roadside memorials, or car people that I have photographed.
