
One of the projects I am working on is a series I call “Decay” which, as you can probably work out, is exploring objects that are heading back to the Earth, however slowly. I have always been drawn to rotting buildings and cars, probably because we have so many of them in Oregon and Washington and I see them a lot.

There is an incredible example of this in action just down the road from me at the Stauffer Dairy Farm where their main pole barn has begun to collapse. It’s beautiful in its ongoing demise.

I asked the owners for permission to shoot and they were incredibly gracious.
