Maranello

Wife and I are on European holiday and we started in Maranello and Modena, Italy. Jet-lag dictates that I had some time in the evening to take a few photos before it started to rain … we went to the factory which, to me, is sort of the iconic Ferrari location.

When I couldn’t sleep past 3 AM local time I figured I would go see what was going on at the new factory gate. It turns out that all manner of Ferrari mid-engined cars are coming and going in the wee hours!

There is an iconic shot of the Cavalino against the Ferrari factory sign … that apparently has to be taken either a) in the Winter so there are no leaves on the trees or b) 30 years ago before the trees grew.

Here are a few random photos you may enjoy, or have a look at all my portfolio, my work shooting roadside memorials, or car people that I have photographed.
