
My oldest kid is in town for the Holidays and they are actually paid to take photos up in Seattle. They suggested “let’s go shoot photos” and I wanted to roll around and look for descansos anyway, so I loaned them my M11 and we hopped in the lifted XC90 and took off.
We got lucky with the memorials — four of them on a stretch of Highway 14 — but came across this biker enjoying the day. He was trying to take a selfie so I offered to help.

Of course I got the lighting wrong and the original was blown out completely, but thanks to the magic of Lightroom I was able to recover the shot somewhat. I like the close crop since you can see an approaching car in his shades.
