Anonymous

One of the things that I find sort of fascinating is that some of the descansos I am finding are completely anonymous and others have the deceased’s name all over them and go so far as to tell the story of their demise. I’m sure like anything it’s just personal preference on the part of the loved ones, but it’s interesting.

This one, out on Hebo Road near Grand Ronde in Oregon, had clearly been there awhile. Maybe it had a name on it at one point?

I’ll never know.
