I’ve looked and looked for any detail online about this descanso where it appears that three people lose their lives. It’s hard to tell if it was one accident and three related people, or separate accidents. I don’t touch the memorials and so I couldn’t see if there is a last name under the wreath.

Highway 18 from Salem to Lincoln City was especially busy the day I took these shots. So much so that Amity made me promise I would get an orange vest to make sure people saw me when I was standing on the side of the road.
