Donna Ball was killed by a drunk driver in 2013. Patty Weissenfluh was driving a Cadillac Deville when she crossed the line on a corner and hit Ball’s car head on. Weissenfluh was later arrested at her home in Depot Bay, some twenty minutes away.

I’m not sure how long her memorial has been there given the crash was over a decade ago; trees are growing up around the descanso but it still has fresh flowers.
