Robert’s motto of life was “Let Go Move On Get Over It. Ride for Sanity.” He died in his Ford Mustang after losing control during a pass on Washougal River Road. I’d driven by this exact point a hundred times and not noticed the descanso … I guess I need to pay closer attention.

I’m not sure if the flag was part of the memorial or someone left it behind. I am making a point to not touch or disturb anything.
