Cross
Often times anonymous crosses are just simple affairs: a few pieces of wood or just two pieces of PVC pipe tied together. They don’t have any names or markers or much of anything to identify the individual being remembered, just the cross.
Not this one.

While there isn’t anything to identify the accident victim, this simple descanso is about as well built as they come. Shaped concrete planted firmly in the ground at a three-way intersection in North Clark County, Washington.

No decorations visible but Mother Nature has the memorial covered with four white tulips coming up with the onset of Spring. Aside from the flowers you’d probably miss this one, even if you were waiting at the crosswalk waiting to continue on whatever journey you are on.

Rest in peace, anonymous one.
