Singer Track Day I

I’m still processing photos from Goodwood but I was able to crack out a few from the Singer Track Day that we were able to attend at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. We went because we knew it would be a great way to see the cars in action.

It turned out to not only be an excellent assembly of Singers, both company and privately owned, but a pretty good way to see some other incredible cars.

Above we have a 1961 Short Wheel Base Ferrari 250. My photo does not do the car justice: it was beyond gorgeous.

Next, a McLaren F1 GTR. One of twenty eight made, and a car that finished 11th in the 1996 running of the 24 Hours of LeMans.

A Porsche 904 Carrera GTS with a special livery resulting from a collaboration between contemporary artist Daniel Arsham and Team Ikuzawa.

The Goodwood Hill Climb record holding McMurtry Spéirling, a fan car that managed to get up the hill in under 40 seconds. If you haven’t seen it in action, you really should!

Finally, and a great honor for me, I was able to grab a quick photo of Singer Vehicle Design’s founder, Rob Dickenson. Rob was incredibly gracious to Amity and I all weekend, taking the time to talk with me about his cars and company despite being surrounded by much wealthier and frankly much more important customers, and for that I a grateful.

Here are a few random photos you may enjoy, or have a look at all my portfolio, my work shooting roadside memorials, or car people that I have photographed.
