Goodwood I

The main reason we are in Europe is for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. We have never been but it’s been on our list for a decade and this year was the year. I admit we got lucky, both with the weather and with having some incredibly connected friends … the latter allowed me to get these shots.

The big deal at Goodwood is having incredible drivers drive historically significant and in many cases priceless cars up a hill. One never really knows who will get out of what car, but in this case we were treated to Formula 1 driver Gabriel Bortoleto.

He seemed to be enjoying the moment, and I suspect this was his first time up the hill.
