More from Maui’s Highway 31 — the Piliani Highway. “To: Stacie” is the only thing that identifies the deceased. Not really enough to go on to figure out what happened, especially given the number of deaths on this road.

Despite the blue skies on the day I shot, when I was editing Stacie’s descanco I just couldn’t get away from black-and-white.
