Recently I sponsored a racing team at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas and so had better that expected access to the pits and paddocks. I took the X2D and shot … and what I learned was that shooting motorsports is hard!

I probably shot 1,000 photos and managed to get maybe two dozen that I liked.

Still, I feel like some of these turned out okay and so I framed them a la Karl J. Noakes.

Eventually one of the crew members noticed what I was doing …
