Highway 6 from Portland to Tillamook has this section that is unimaginably bad. It’s basically failing completely for a mile or two, and so it was no surprise when we came across a memorial in the middle of the mess.

It was somewhat more disturbing that there were three descansos at this location, all seemingly unrelated. Two with names, one anonymous.
