KGW

Not much to go on here when I try to figure out what led to this descansco on Highway 97, just South of Sunriver, Oregon. The Internet is not particularly giving with a search for “KGW death 1/18/2019” and variations thereof … and a lot of people die on Highway 97.

This one looks like it hasn’t been visited in a while. At one point I imagine these flowers were hanging on the cross … but wind and time has left them scattered.

I don’t have as many options regarding time of day when I am searching for memorials so I just make do with what I have. I did like how the sun was backlighting this memorial today.
