Michael

Michael McBride was born in the same year as me, 1970. Unfortunately he only made it to twenty six before he died near Hockinson, Washington. The Internet is silent on the situation leading to this cross, although that is more common in older descansos I am finding.

His cross is huge, relatively speaking, but I have driven by it a hundred times and never noticed. I’m not surprised I am seeing it now given my photographic project, but I wonder how many times I have driven by one of these memorials and they were just invisible?
