Sloth

No identifying marks on this one, and perhaps it’s best because damn, this memorial is kinda creepy. Three stuffed animals hang on the two posts, possibly identifying two lost lives. The first post has what I believe to be a sloth …

The second has a monkey …

… and a bear. All three animals are aging poorly at this point, likely an indicator of how old the descanso is.

Despite the age of the stuffed animals, the flowers on the day I photographed the scene were fresh, and so someone still remembers these lost souls out there on Highway 14.
