Driving back to the hotel, my passenger and navigator Juan Carlos said “hey, is that one of the things you’re looking for?”

Another well-constructed memorial, cemented into the ground, just off the side of Mexico Highway 1 North of San Jose del Cabo, honoring twenty seven year old Mario Reyes who lost his life here. Unfortunately, even with names and dates, the Internet is lacking information about the events that led to this descants, although it’s not hard to imagine what happened.
