Jason

Jason Charles Nelson was from McMinnville, Oregon and died in a car accident on highway 97 in 2005. He was twenty nine years old, and information about the accident is only available from one source: another site with photos of descansos!

My research on sites like mine hasn’t yielded much other than Bob Eckert’s beautiful site, John Comito’s gallery, and a handful of photos in various photo services … until now. Interestingly enough, it looks like the owner of Roadside Crossings is shooting in the same general area as I am.

It never occurred to me that there would be another photographer in the Pacific Northwest with the same, uh, passion for these memorials. I guess I will find out what motivates him or her.
