Two Angels

Towards the end of the second day of shooting, and just before I came across O’Keefe, I saw these two angels sitting and guarding a huge field.

Sentinels, almost, looking back over the stretch of highway that caused their placement.

I tried a new treatment on the images and I’m not sure about it. The vignette is interesting as it focuses the eye, but it also makes those clouds in the foreground a lot darker than they were that day.
