Mesas

As we went North in New Mexico back towards Colorado the descansos got fewer and more far between. When I came across this one I got excited since a) I hadn’t seen one in an hour and b) it had this wonderful scenic background.

Unfortunately when I looked back at the shots I got I wasn’t as impressed with the background as I thought I would be. I think for situations like this I need a longer lens that will flatten the scene more.

Something to keep in mind.
