High Desert

More people at cars shows, this time from the High Desert PCA’s Cars and Coffee monthly event. It’s so nice of folks to let me practice photography by taking their photos …

The gentleman below is Fred, the HDPCA club President and a wonderful human being.

This last photo is my favorite, not because it’s a great photo … but because I had met Jordan (right) over a decade ago when I was first collecting cars. He asked me “how did you create your success?” and I told him what I tell every young person: “Take risks. When you’re young, very little is unrecoverable, but if you don’t take risks you’ll never get ahead.”

We haven’t seen each other since then but today, when I ran into him he told me that he had taken my advice … and taken risks … and had recently purchased a Porsche GT3 RS as a result. How cool is that?

I mean, my own kids don’t take my advice. I’m excited for your success, Jordan!

Here are a few random photos you may enjoy, or have a look at all my portfolio, my work shooting roadside memorials, or car people that I have photographed.
