New York I

In Manhattan this week with the family and have been walking around with my Leica Q3 43. I debated whether to bring a fixed-lens camera or something more flexible but here I am so I will do what I can.

The nice thing about Manhattan is that there is no shortage of subject matter. Or people.

It’s also nice that the city is in near constant motion.

Of course, the thing to do in a big city is “street photography” which I have been trying but there is some connection I am not making. I am not getting shots … but when I look at them, they aren’t interesting.

This one at least worked a little.

I have been happier with the night shots I have taken so far. Here’s the one I like the best …

Finally, my kids tell me this isn’t Elmo … but for sure it is Elmo, but what the hell has happened to him?

Here are a few random photos you may enjoy, or have a look at all my portfolio, my work shooting roadside memorials, or car people that I have photographed.
