Ron

At one point Ron had a last name on his descanso, at least it looks that way. Not anymore. Time has taken its toll on this singular cross on deadly highway 97 between Shaniko and Kent. The weeds have grown up around him, and the wood is weathered almost to the point of decay.

Still, the trucks go barreling past day and night on their way from highway 84 to Central Oregon.
