Jordan
Jordan Scott Cox made a young driver’s mistake back in 2012 that, unfortunately, cost him his life. It’s every parent’s worst nightmare when our kids are learning to drive. A preventable accident, likely caused by inexperience, urgency, or just bad luck.
Jordan was sixteen.

We teach our kids to look left and look right, then look left and right again. Then do it one more time, especially in busy or high speed intersections. And still accidents happen.
Jordan didn’t see the truck and trailer coming at him as he turned across the lane on highway 26.
There are three crosses at his descanso, presumably from family and friends. They are set in front of the gas station at what the locals call “Shorty’s Corner.” The accident was over a decade ago and all three crosses are showing the sign of age.

Rest in peace, Jordan.
