I didn’t have specific plans for my last day in New York until I went to the Leica store in Chelsea and learned that there would be a Porsche club event there on Sunday morning. Leica + Porsche? Please!
Despite the rain the event did not disappoint.

Again shooting in monochrome, the rain added a really nice touch to the cars and images I was able to capture.

Talk about patina, right? This old 912 was clearly a survivor.

I continued my exploration of motion in the city, this time with a truly great subject to focus on.
My final shot, below, is of my beloved Porsche 911 930 — the “widow maker.” I have one in this same general color scheme — my wheels aren’t polished — and it is a car that will always be near and dear to my heart.

Here are a few random photos you may enjoy, or have a look at all my portfolio, my work shooting roadside memorials, or car people that I have photographed.
